As a Senior QA Engineer at dMACQ Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge educational platform. Your primary focus will be on testing, automating, and assuring the quality of educational systems using JavaScript-based frameworks, specifically Jest. Immediate joiners are preferred for this position. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to develop robust and scalable automated tests using Jest and JavaScript. Your responsibilities include setting and maintaining quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle in a CI/CD-first culture. Additionally, you will mentor and support teammates in implementing best practices for JavaScript test automation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, cases, and suites for adaptive educational workflows, APIs, and web applications. You will also implement automated testing strategies for data analytics, user journey validation, and cross-platform data synchronization. Creating and maintaining performance, integration, and end-to-end tests using JavaScript and related frameworks will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will build and maintain test automation pipelines primarily using Jest, with the option to leverage Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end testing as needed. Your technical skills will be utilized in mocking, stubbing, and validating APIs, Azure Functions, and database interactions using JavaScript and Node.js. Integration of automation with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, will also be part of your tasks. Moreover, you will apply accessibility test libraries compatible with JS, like axe-core, to ensure WCAG 2.1 AA adherence. As part of the role, you will automate testing for adaptive content, user personalization, learning analytics, role-based permissions, and marketplace/monetization workflows. Validating data integrity, security, and compliance with educational regulations (FERPA, GDPR) using API/script-based test automation will be essential. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on JavaScript-based test automation. Advanced hands-on experience with Jest, including unit, integration, and automated testing, is required, along with working knowledge of Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools. Experience in API, performance, and security testing using JS tools is also necessary, as well as a deep understanding of modern QA methodologies, processes, and Agile environments. Familiarity with database validation, mocking/stubbing, and continuous testing with CI/CD pipelines is preferred. If you have experience with accessibility test libraries in JavaScript, WCAG compliance, Azure Functions/serverless backends, or API automation using JavaScript, it would be considered a plus. Holding certifications such as ISTQB, Agile Testing certification, or relevant JavaScript testing credentials is advantageous for this role.,
