Position Overview We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to expand our client base and grow our market presence. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of L&D trends, corporate training needs, and consultative sales approaches. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Lead Generation Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries (e.g., tech, finance, healthcare). Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline through networking, prospecting, and outreach. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to represent the brand and generate leads. Client Engagement & Consultative Selling Conduct meetings, pitches, and presentations to HR, L&D, and senior leadership stakeholders. Build long-term client relationships and act as a strategic advisor on learning solutions Collaboration & Solution Development Work closely with instructional designers, facilitators, and project managers to co-create proposals and training packages. Provide input on product and service development based on market trends and client feedback. Sales Management & Reporting Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to leadership. Track and analyze business development metrics to inform strategy and decision-making. Requirements 3–6 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, (ideally in L&D, HR, or professional services). Strong knowledge of learning & development concepts, trends, and corporate training landscapes. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Comfortable engaging with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers. Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Education, or a related field (Master’s is a plus). Nice to Have Experience selling learning solutions, digital learning platforms, or leadership development programs. Familiarity with instructional design principles or L&D delivery methods (classroom, virtual, blended). Existing network of HR or L&D professionals.
