We are looking for an experienced Senior Active Directory Architect specialized in AWS Cloud to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise Active Directory infrastructure within AWS. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep technical expertise in Active Directory, and IAM solutions to support robust, scalable, and secure identity management. Responsibilities: Architect, design, implement, and maintain highly available and secure Active Directory environments on AWS. Develop robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies integrating Active Directory with AWS services. Plan, execute, and manage Active Directory migrations, consolidations, and integrations within AWS environments. Design and deploy AWS Managed Microsoft AD and AD Connector to meet enterprise authentication and authorization requirements. Implement secure solutions using AWS Directory Services, Azure AD Connect, AWS SSO, and third-party integrations. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Minimum 15+ years of experience in designing and managing enterprise-level Active Directory infrastructure. Expert-level knowledge in AWS Cloud services, particularly AWS Directory Service, AWS Managed Microsoft AD, AWS IAM, AWS SSO, and AWS Cloud Security. Proven experience integrating Active Directory with AWS environments, Azure AD, and other cloud-based identity solutions. Strong expertise in AD Federation Services (ADFS), LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Solid understanding of network concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN) and security best practices. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS control tower and landing zones, as well as organizations and service control policies (SCPs). A solid understanding of cloud networking is essential, including VPC, TGW, CloudWAN, VPN, Direct Connect, and load balancers. We are also looking for someone who is adept with Lambda, particularly in event-driven automation using Python. In terms of system administration, proficiency in Linux is a must, along with cloud administration skills such as AMI management and patching/SSM automation. Familiarity with a range of AWS services is highly desirable, including RDS, Service Catalog, CloudFront, RAM, DynamoDB, Route 53, and RTM. Access control knowledge is crucial, and experience with IAM, AWS SSO, and Okta would be beneficial. Security is another key area, so familiarity with AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, and WAF is important. Additionally, experience with CI/CD processes and tools like GitOps, CloudFormation/Terraform, and Boto3 will be a strong advantage.
