AWS Specialist

You will play a crucial role in leveraging various AWS services, such as AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, and RDS, to automate the provisioning of cloud resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers to support their professional growth and contribute to the enhancement of our architecture. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend applications using Python. - Utilizing a diverse range of AWS services to create robust, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures. - Developing and managing data pipelines with AWS Glue for ETL processes, ensuring data availability for analytics. - Constructing and exposing RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between services and frontend components. - Collaborating closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver dependable software features. - Implementing security best practices and optimizing performance through code profiling, troubleshooting, and monitoring. - Providing mentorship to junior developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Key qualifications and skills required include: Must-Have: - Substantial experience in backend development with a strong emphasis on Python. - Expertise in AWS services, including AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and other related tools. - Demonstrated proficiency in designing and overseeing data pipelines, particularly with AWS Glue. - Strong background in RESTful API design and API integrations. - Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within distributed cloud environments. - Competence in version control systems, such as Git.
