You are a highly skilled Dot NET Technical/Solution Architect responsible for leading the modernization and cloud migration of a large-scale legacy enterprise application located in Gurgaon. With 9-12 years of hands-on experience in .NET technologies and at least 3 years in architecting or leading large-scale migration or modernization projects, you will define and implement the technical strategy for end-to-end application modernization. Your key responsibilities include leading the migration of VB.NET WinForms to Angular-based Single Page Applications on AWS, overseeing the database migration from SQL Server to PostgreSQL, and ensuring schema, procedure, and data compatibility. You must have proven experience in VB.NET to C#/.NET Core/.NET 7+ migration using tools, code converters, GenAI-assisted tools, or scripting for code transformation. Additionally, you should possess a strong background in migrating 2-tier architecture applications into 3-tier architecture, deep understanding of SQL Server & PostgreSQL differences, migration tooling, and performance optimization. Expertise in building REST APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API is essential for this role. Nice-to-have skills include an understanding of BizTalk or other legacy integration systems and familiarity with AWS services like DMS. Your proficiency should cover languages such as VB.NET, C#, TypeScript, frameworks including .NET 7/8, Angular 14+, databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, tools such as AWS SCT, DMS, code converters, and cloud services from AWS.
