As a Junior Software Engineer (Front End - React) at SmartBear, you will play a vital role in the company's mission to help customers build great software with quality. You will be working on QMetry Test Management for Jira, solving challenging business problems, and developing highly scalable applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, documenting, and implementing new systems in ReactJS, developing intuitive and responsive user interfaces that integrate with REST APIs, and contributing to the transformation of QMetry products to align with end-user requirements while maintaining market-leading positions. In this role, you will report to the Lead Engineer and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements. You will be developing modern and responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and associated technologies, creating clean, reusable, and efficient code based on product requirements, and following an agile mode of development. Additionally, you will be involved in creating automated UI tests, contributing to system testing, and working within an agile delivery framework. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in frontend development using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. A bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Strong experience in state management, component-driven development, API-driven development, and delivering projects in Agile methodology is essential. You should also have a good understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, frontend performance optimization, testing frameworks, and tools like GitHub, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
