Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive AWS Operational Support Analyst to join our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the performance, security, and reliability of AWS-hosted environments. This role is essential in ensuring uninterrupted cloud operations and supporting DevOps, development, and business teams with cloud-related issues. Key Responsibilities Monitor AWS cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and operational issues. Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of infrastructure-related issues. Execute daily operational tasks including backups, system patching, and performance tuning. Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure smooth CI/CD operations. Maintain system documentation and support knowledge base. Automate routine tasks using shell scripts or AWS tools (e.g., Lambda, Systems Manager). Manage AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC. Implement cloud cost-optimization practices and security compliance controls. Perform health checks, generate reports, and suggest performance improvements.
