AWS Java Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer for this Contract-to-Hire opportunity, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade microservices using Java (8+) and Spring Boot. You will be responsible for implementing scalable, distributed systems with Kafka for event streaming. Additionally, you will develop cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services such as S3 for object storage, Lambda for serverless compute, and ECS for container orchestration. Collaboration with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams is crucial for successful feature rollouts. Your responsibilities also include optimizing system performance, ensuring availability, security, and scalability, and actively participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions.
