AWS Infrastructure Engineer

As an experienced AWS Infrastructure engineer at our company, you will be part of a global data engineering team spanning across London, Bangalore, and Pune offices. Your primary responsibility will be to develop cost-effective optimum AWS cloud solutions to enable our data-driven strategy. You will collaborate with the IT team, deploy APIs to AWS, understand the current infrastructure, and create various AWS services such as API, RDS instance, and Lambda to build serverless applications. Your role will also involve creating reusable scripts, identifying system bottlenecks and bugs, conducting software analysis, testing, updating, and debugging applications. Additionally, you will ensure data privacy, compliance (GDPR), and maintain data dictionaries for governance purposes. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the IT team to deploy APIs to AWS - Understand current infrastructure and stack for employing best AWS solutions - Create different AWS services such as API, RDS instance, and Lambda for serverless applications - Develop reusable, effective, and scalable scripts - Identify system bottlenecks and bugs, and provide solutions - Conduct software analysis, testing, updating, and debugging - Ensure applications are compatible with all web browsers - Maintain data privacy, compliance (GDPR), and data dictionaries for governance Qualifications Required: - English language proficiency - 3+ years of professional experience in core AWS services - Deep understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices - Proficiency in one or more languages from our stack (Java, Python) - Proficient understanding of various AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda, Glacier, SNS, EBS, CloudFront, SQS, VPC, Kinesis, and Elastic Beanstalk - Experience in Linux/Unix administration - Ability to use a CI/CD pipeline for deploying applications on AWS - Strong understanding of security best practices such as IAM roles and KMS If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in a full-time, permanent role focused on development, with a B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization or MCA, please send your CVs to career@silfratech.com clearly mentioning the percentage marks for 10th, 12th, and Graduation.,
