AWS Infrastructure Engineer

As an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer, you will be joining our IT team to design, develop, and maintain applications. You will collaborate with a global data engineering team in London, Bangalore, and Pune, playing a crucial role in enabling our data-driven strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to develop cost-effective optimal AWS cloud solutions. We are seeking a candidate with strong technical and communication skills due to the collaborative nature of the project. Your responsibilities will include deploying APIs to AWS, understanding the current infrastructure to implement best AWS solutions, creating various AWS services such as API, RDS instance, and Lambda for serverless applications. You will develop reusable, effective, and scalable scripts, identify system bottlenecks and bugs, and provide solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in software analysis, testing, updating, and debugging, ensuring applications work seamlessly across all web browsers. Data privacy, GDPR compliance, and maintaining data dictionaries for governance purposes will also be part of your role. Desired Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in English language - 3+ years of professional experience in core AWS services - Deep understanding of AWS services, uses, and best practices - Proficiency in Java or Python - Strong understanding of AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and more - Experience in Linux/Unix administration - Ability to deploy applications on AWS using CI/CD pipeline - Knowledge of security best practices like IAM roles and KMS This is a full-time, permanent role in the development category.
