AWS FinOps Specialist - Cloud Cost Optimization

As a detail-oriented and experienced FinOps Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud financial operations. Your role will involve monitoring AWS usage and costs, implementing cost-saving strategies, and providing actionable insights to ensure efficient cloud resource utilization. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring and tracking AWS cloud usage and costs to ensure financial efficiency, developing and implementing cost optimization strategies, budgeting and forecasting cloud expenses accurately, collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote cloud cost best practices, driving accountability for cloud spend across the organization, providing detailed reporting and insights on cloud financial performance, and enforcing cloud governance policies and cost-effective resource utilization. To excel in this role, you should have strong expertise in cloud cost management and AWS services, familiarity with FinOps principles and frameworks, exceptional analytical skills to present data-driven insights, proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cloud financial management. An AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or FinOps Certified Practitioner certification is preferred. Additionally, excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to engage with both technical and non-technical teams effectively.
