Role Overview: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes clusters to ensure seamless deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting. You will utilize Helm for templating and managing Kubernetes applications, develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and configure management with Ansible. Administering and optimizing Kafka clusters for real-time event-driven architectures will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will automate workflows using GitHub Actions for CI/CD, manage AWS cloud services, and oversee Cert-Manager for certificate management in Kubernetes. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth CI/CD pipeline execution and deployment in production environments, while staying updated with emerging DevOps technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for seamless deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting. - Utilize Helm for templating and managing Kubernetes applications. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible. - Administer and optimize Kafka clusters to support real-time event-driven architectures. - Automate workflows using GitHub Actions for CI/CD and version control. - Manage AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and networking components. - Implement and oversee Cert-Manager for certificate management in Kubernetes. - Ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline execution and deployment in production environments. - Collaborate in agile environments using Jira for tracking tasks and workflows. - Troubleshoot, monitor, and enhance infrastructure security, performance, and availability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical fields (or equivalent professional experience). - 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps Infrastructure. - Strong expertise in Kubernetes: deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting. - Experience in Helm, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible. - Kafka administration and event-driven architecture optimization. - Proficiency in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.). - Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines in a production environment. - Knowledge of Cert-Manager for TLS certificate management. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
