This role involves troubleshooting, incident management, performance monitoring, and deployment-related tasks, often requiring deep knowledge of AWS services, automation, and security practices. Responsibilities and Skills: Troubleshooting and Incident Management: Analyzing logs, monitoring dashboards, and diagnosing issues in production systems. Performance Optimization: Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure. Release Support: Ensuring smooth deployments, coordinating with stakeholders, and performing post-release sanity checks. Vulnerability and Patch Management: Staying current with security threats, implementing patches, and addressing vulnerabilities. Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Utilizing tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI to automate deployment and management tasks. Deep Knowledge of AWS Services: Understanding and leveraging services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, CloudWatch, Redshift, and Athena. Example Tasks: Investigating and resolving errors reported in production applications. Monitoring system logs and alerting on critical performance issues. Deploying new code releases to production environments while minimizing downtime. Ensuring the security of AWS infrastructure and applications.
