AWS Databricks

We are seeking an experienced AWS Databricks Architect with strong DevOps capabilities to take charge of designing, developing, and deploying scalable data solutions on the cloud. This pivotal role requires a profound hands-on understanding of AWS, Databricks, and CI/CD pipelines, with a primary focus on automation and performance optimization. As an AWS Databricks Architect, your key responsibilities will include architecting and executing scalable data solutions utilizing AWS and Databricks, developing and overseeing robust CI/CD pipelines for code deployment and infrastructure automation, collaborating closely with data engineering and DevOps teams to merge data flows and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across all deployed solutions, and offering technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. The ideal candidate should possess 8+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud/Architecture roles, a strong command of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc., practical experience with Databricks including workflows, notebooks, and clusters, proficiency in tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, a solid grasp of Python/Scala and SQL, excellent communication skills enabling effective cross-functional collaboration. Candidates with exposure to Azure or GCP cloud environments, experience with Big Data tools like Spark, Kafka, etc., and AWS or Databricks certifications will be considered favorably for this role.,
