Job description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS storage solutions, particularly Redshift and S3, and a solid background in ETL development using SQL and Python. Proficiency in version control using GitHub is also essential. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support data integration and analytics initiatives. Build and manage data models in Amazon Redshift, ensuring high performance and efficient storage. Ingest and manage structured and unstructured data from various sources into AWS S3 and Redshift. Optimize SQL queries and Python scripts to improve data processing efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver robust solutions. Maintain code versioning and documentation using GitHub following best practices in code management and CI/CD. Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and availability. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development. Strong experience with AWS Redshift and Amazon S3. Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and query optimization. Strong programming skills in Python for ETL scripting and automation. Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud data architecture. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
