Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Data Engineer with hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, and Athena. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud-native data engineering practicesKey Responsibilities:5 years of experience in data engineering with focused on AWS.Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue , PySpark and PythonManage data lakes and data warehouses using Amazon S3, Athena, and Redshift.Develop and maintain Athena queries for data analysis and reporting.Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting for data pipelines.Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.Optimize performance and cost of data workflows in the AWS environment.Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage in a cloud-native environment.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance.Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvement.Required Skills & Qualifications:Expert-level proficiency in AWS Glue, S3, Athena, and Lambda.Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.Experience with data lake architecture, partitioning strategiesFamiliarity with CI/CD, pipelines and infrastructure as code , Terraform/CloudFormation, and DevOps practices.Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or equivalent certificationExposure to Redshift, Kinesis, or Kafka is a plus.Background in big data technologies like EMR, Hadoop, or Spark is a plusExposure to machine learning pipelines and data science workflows is a plus
