We at Globant hiring AWS Data Engineer in Pune and Bangalore.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in AWS services, Python programming, SQL, and experience with data processing frameworks such as PySpark. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data warehouses to support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3).
• Implement and manage data storage solutions using Amazon Redshift and other AWS data services.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Utilize Python and PySpark for data processing and analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Document data processes, architectures, and workflows for future reference and compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data engineering and cloud computing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly in data storage and processing (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue).
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with big data technologies and frameworks, particularly PySpark.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\
