As a Project Engineer at one of the top Australian banks, you will play a key role in modernizing the data and analytics platform. Working closely with IT and business stakeholders in the Data and Platform team, you will contribute to implementing the bank's data strategy to position it as the best AI bank worldwide. Your responsibilities will include creating technology blueprints and engineering roadmaps for multi-year data transformational programs. You should have a strong understanding of architectural patterns, cloud-native solutions on AWS, microservices architecture, solutions integration, and containerization. Extensive knowledge of AWS services, especially those related to data storage and processing such as S3, RDS, Redshift, DataZone, and Glue is essential. As a Manager of CRE teams at Searce, your primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of excellent Cloud Managed Services to our customers. You will be tasked with planning, organizing, and overseeing staff and CRE operations to maintain the stability of customer infrastructure. Implementation of CRE principles including blameless PostMortem and automation, as well as defining and enforcing configuration management and change management policies, are crucial aspects of this role. In this position, you will handle escalations, provide tier-2 and 3 escalation support, and serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from other departments. Building trusted relationships with application team members, proactively driving issue resolutions, and mapping effectively with critical application teams will be essential for success.
