As a Cloud Engineer at JLLT CoE, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments. Your role will involve architecting, deploying, and optimizing Azure-based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security services. You will lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with a focus on Azure technologies and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices. Additionally, you will manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS, establish cloud security standards, build CI/CD pipelines, provide mentorship to junior engineers, optimize cloud resource usage, and troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles, with strong hands-on experience in Azure and working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms. Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, along with experience in Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments is essential. You should also demonstrate expertise in cloud security principles, cloud networking concepts, and have experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations is required, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications include Azure certifications, experience with Azure governance and compliance frameworks, knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, background in supporting enterprise-scale applications, and experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools.
