Your Impact You will be developing PlanetView, a Software-as-a-Service platform which helps the financial sector understand and manage climate change risks and quantify carbon emissions. You will work alongside our physical and transition risk modelling teams, following agile processes, to bring analytical approaches and features to production. We work with financial data, terabytes of global climate data and a wide range of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) data and integrate them in our class-leading advanced economic models. As an AWS Operations and DevOps Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 monitoring, incident management with SLAs, cost optimization, and governance services. Your primary focus will be on adhering to security and compliance best practices, as well as automating provisioning and workflows. Your key deliverables will include generating monthly reports on usage, cost, and incidents, maintaining cloud architecture documentation, conducting security posture and compliance assessments, and ensuring the smooth operation of DevOps pipelines. To excel in this role, you should ideally have experience working with container platforms such as ECS & EKS, handling ML workloads, possess relevant certifications, and be familiar with HPC and ML technologies like parallel clusters, AWS batch, and SageMaker especially in the context of life sciences data workloads. While AWS Advanced or Premier Partner status is preferred, the right candidate will also have a strong foundation in the aforementioned areas along with a track record of references to support their expertise. Roles and Responsibilities : Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable and secure AWS-based solutions for clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical designs. Troubleshoot complex issues related to AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda functions etc. Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards in the design of cloud architectures. Job Requirements : 5-9 years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering or similar role. Strong understanding of Python programming language and its application in AWS services like Lambda functions. Experience working with EventBridge or other messaging queues (e.g. Kinesis) is an added advantage.

You should also have intermediate knowledge in SLURM resource scheduler. Hands-on experience with AWS services related to HPC like EC2, S3, FSx for Lustre, AWS Batch, and AWS ParallelCluster is required. Familiarity with parallel file systems like Lustre, GPFS, and network storage solutions is essential. Knowledge of GPU computing and working with GPU-enabled HPC systems on AWS is a plus. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef is desired.
