Role Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, pitching customized event solutions, and closing deals to generate revenue. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, communication finesse, market understanding, and relationship-building skills. We are looking for a female candidate with a strong professional presence, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the confidence to lead conversations with top-level clients and brands. Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Identify and approach potential clients across corporate sectors, government projects, public & private enterprises. Develop a strong pipeline of leads through networking, cold calls, referrals, and events. Build long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and offering tailored event solutions. Maintain excellent client servicing standards and ensure repeat business. Proposal Development & Pitching Prepare compelling business proposals, RFPs, pitch decks, and quotations with detailed budgeting. Conduct client meetings and deliver impactful presentations to convert leads into projects. Liaise with internal teams (creative, operations, logistics) to align proposal feasibility and timelines. Market Strategy & Growth Conduct regular market research to stay updated with trends, competitor activities, and client behavior. Create growth strategies aligned with company goals and revenue targets. Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and industry networking platforms. Operational Coordination Ensure seamless handover of confirmed projects to the event execution team. Monitor client satisfaction during and after project completion. Maintain documentation, CRM data, and reports for all business development activities. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in business development in the event management, advertising, marketing, or hospitality sectors. Strong command of verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A deep understanding of event formats, planning processes, budgeting, and ROI evaluation. Proficient in MS Office, email communication, and CRM tools. Ability to work independently under pressure, multitask, and deliver results. Preferred Candidate Profile: Female candidates with a confident personality and strong client-handling skills.
