The Embedded Firmware Engineer position at Azista in Ahmedabad is a full-time role within the R&D department. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual for immediate hire. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and debugging embedded firmware. It is essential to have a good understanding of microcontroller-based hardware schematic diagrams and the ability to develop firmware using the C language. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is a crucial aspect of this role in order to define and implement firmware requirements effectively. The responsibilities also include preparing firmware design documents, creating firmware test cases, and ensuring the update and maintenance of firmware versions. Key requirements for this position include experience in embedded firmware design using C, proficiency in analog and digital electronics, and familiarity with tools such as IAR Workbench. Strong programming skills in the Embedded Domain, knowledge of basic electronics, and understanding of various protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS232/RS485, and USB are highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge of GPS, GSM-GPRS modules, ADC, DAC, MSP430, AVR microcontrollers, and the use of tools like a multimeter and oscilloscope are advantageous. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and have 2-5 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
