AVP/ Manager - LG Mortgage Asset Specialist, MSF WPB (West & North)

Role Overview: You will be joining HSBC's Wealth and Personal Banking global business, which combines Retail Banking, Wealth Management, and Global Private Banking. As a Branch Assets Specialist, your role will primarily focus on handling asset product applications sourced by Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure seamless processing within the system. Your responsibilities will include back-end support to Branch RMs, effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring application statuses, and identifying cross-sell opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for asset product disbursals of the Branch - Provide back-end support to Branch RMs in the end-to-end process of sourcing to disbursal of asset product applications - Coordinate effectively with internal & external stakeholders such as CRU, CCR, INM, legal, etc - Monitor the status of logged-in applications - Develop and coach branch RMs, and identify cross-sell opportunities for other product lines - Ensure discrepancy rates in applications are minimized and maintain fraud control measures - Comply with applicable laws, regulations, Group, and local guidelines related to Sanctions and AML policy - Remain vigilant for unusual activities and report promptly as per AML policy - Support AML Investigations by providing additional information when required - Attend and complete AML and Sanctions related training within the mandated timeframe - Understand and adhere to PEP acceptance, prohibition, CDD & EDD guidelines - Identify high-risk indicators for various products and services offered by the bank - Undertake necessary due diligence to ensure transactions are in line with customer profiles - Communicate effectively with customers regarding products and services offered Qualifications Required: - Graduate with 2 to 5 years of experience - Demonstrate behaviours consistent with HSBC Values - In-depth understanding of the bank's assets sourcing and disbursal process - Organizing skills and problem-solving skills Please note: The job description does not contain any additional details about the company.,
