AVP - GM Treasury

Role Overview: As an Assistant Vice President at HSBC in the GM Treasury team, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate Financial Resources information to Global Markets Senior Management. Your responsibilities will involve driving effective balance-sheet management across the region by analyzing asset/liability returns/costs and investigating key drivers of Risk Weighted Assets, Leverage Exposure, and Liquidity. You will lead and drive various project initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders within and outside Markets and Securities Services. Your agility and flexibility will be essential to meet the ever-changing business requirements with a sense of urgency and proactive anticipation. Additionally, your IT literacy, including proficiency in Python and Statpy, will enable you to lead topics related to increasing operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver accurate Financial Resources information to Global Markets Senior Management - Drive effective balance-sheet management based on asset/liability returns/costs - Analyze key drivers of Risk Weighted Assets, Leverage Exposure, and Liquidity - Lead project initiatives through collaboration with stakeholders - Demonstrate skill, agility, and flexibility to meet changing business requirements - Utilize IT literacy to lead topics related to increasing operational efficiency Qualifications Required: - Very good understanding of balance sheet, Liquidity, and Funding - Proactive management of multiple geographically diverse stakeholders - Understanding and practical experience of Global Markets business and its products - Understanding of Liquidity, funding, capital, and RWA related metrics - Commercial focus and understanding of sector business issues and constraints/challenges - Problem-solving skills with anticipation and urgency - Ability to influence decisions and work to tight deadlines - Strong customer/stakeholder focus with proactive management and negotiation - Leadership qualities with a persistent and pragmatic approach - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Proficiency in IT literacy including MS Office, Python, Stratpy, Tableau, SQL, VBA, etc.,
