As a Full Stack Developer at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the digital landscape and enhancing customer experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape by utilizing cutting-edge technology to innovate and drive excellence. - Designing, developing, and improving software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. - Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions by leveraging industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools to ensure scalability, maintainability, and optimized performance. - Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and align with business objectives. - Promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing through participation in code reviews and peer collaboration. - Staying informed of industry technology trends, contributing to the organization's technology communities, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and growth. - Adhering to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. - Implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. Qualifications required for this role include: - Extensive hands-on experience working with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data, JavaScript, and React/Angular. - Ability to manage daily tasks independently and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactive attitude, and a strong team player. - Additional highly valued skills include experience with AWS, Kafka, and CI/CD (Jenkins, TeamCity). The purpose of this role is to contribute to the design, development, and improvement of software to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities. The job location for this position is in Pune.
