As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Fulfillment at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape and drive innovation and excellence. Your role will involve harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Profile spend in category area and develop an understanding of business strategy, requirements, cost levers, and opportunities. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, develop requests for proposal, and ensure alignment with the bank's priorities. - Plan and execute sourcing events including RFP/RFXs and negotiations to meet business requirements for value, speed, compliance, and risk. - Monitor and guide controls and compliance requirements throughout the category and sourcing cycle. - Develop, implement, and operate policies and procedures for sourcing activities aligned with standards, compliance, and regulations. - Identify and deliver change opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency of sourcing processes. - Stay informed about industry trends and developments related to sourcing and category management. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in global stakeholder management. - Exposure to sourcing for various categories like Capital Real Estate, Bank Ops, and Marketing. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Team player with a proactive approach. - Engineering background preferred. - Previous experience in a mid-senior role with proven deliveries as an individual contributor.
