As an Assistant Vice President Data Analyst at our company, your role will involve enabling effective data governance, risk management, and compliance within the bank. You will act as a liaison between business units and the Data & Records Management (DRM) function, translating business needs into actionable strategies and ensuring efficient implementation of DRM. **Key Responsibilities:** - Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. - Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis. - Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. - Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems. - Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement. **Qualifications Required:** - Banking industry experience, ideally within large matrixed organisations. - Good knowledge of data and records governance frameworks, data risk management, and regulatory expectations. - Previous experience in operating data and/or records governance controls. - Ideally, previous experience in supporting the operation of risk and control frameworks within the context of data and records management. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex data topics to diverse audiences. - Proven track record of driving organizational change within data management and governance would be an advantage. *Location:* Pune In addition, all colleagues are expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship our moral compass, helping us do what we believe is right.
