AVP - Content Strategy & Production

As an AVP - Content Strategy & Production at KUKU, you will play a crucial role in leading the content creation and strategy for microdramas storytelling formats. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining and executing the content strategy for microdramas fiction, aligning it with KUKU's business priorities, audience preferences, and growth goals. - Leading and mentoring a team of writers, producers, and creative stakeholders, while managing external partners like production houses, talent, and dubbing studios. - Collaborating with P&L owners, marketing, product, and analytics teams to measure content performance, optimize engagement, and maximize business impact. - Integrating emerging storytelling techniques and technologies, including generative AI, to enhance content quality, speed, and scalability. - Analyzing audience insights, industry trends, and competitor benchmarks to inform content decisions, ensuring a balance of creativity and business value. - Implementing operational best practices for high-volume content production without compromising quality. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - 7-9 years of experience in content creation and production, focusing on fictional, consumer-facing formats. - Proven track record in long-form storytelling and leading successful, high-velocity content production at scale. - Experience in integrating generative AI or emerging content technologies into production workflows is highly desirable. - Strong understanding of regional content preferences and multilingual production. - Exceptional business acumen, including the ability to connect content strategies to revenue, engagement metrics, and audience growth. - Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
