AVP - Acquisition Credit Strategy - Credit Analytics (L10)

As an AVP - Acquisition Credit Strategy at Synchrony, you will have the opportunity to work on major business initiatives in the Credit Acquisition team contributing to the company's growth and productivity objectives. Your role will involve developing, delivering, validating, and monitoring the performance of Acquisition strategies. You will work directly with the business to cater to end-to-end analytical needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and utilize state-of-the-art tools such as SAS and FICO AWB. Reporting to the VP, Acquisition Strategy Leader, you will play a crucial role within the India Credit Organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support enterprise-wide projects with a focus on the One Acquisition initiative for Credit Acquisitions Program Pillar - Develop strategies at portfolio, product, channel, and client levels to optimize approval rates, delinquency performance rates, and sales - Act as a data liaison for third-party vendors supporting retail credit acquisition pillar tools - Conduct pre-implementation strategies and model testing validations - Ensure sound strategy governance is executed - Monitor post-release implementation validation and strategy performance - Perform ad-hoc analytics and deliver results in a timely manner - Present findings, updates, and results to senior management effectively - Collaborate on projects across the organization in a fast-paced environment - Manage multiple projects simultaneously **Required Skills/Knowledge:** - 4+ years of analytics experience in the Consumer credit industry - Proficiency in analyzing data using SAS/SQL/MS tools - Degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science/Engineering, or other quantitative majors - 4+ years of experience with advanced SAS programming including SAS Base, SAS Stats, and SAS Macros - Strong communication skills at all levels of management - Experience in managing multiple projects and prioritizing work assignments - Familiarity with model governance processes and model validation **Desired Skills/Knowledge:** - Hands-on experience in Python/PySpark - Curiosity and drive to bring change in consumer banking - Collaboration experience with technical and business teams - Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork, facilitation, and presentation - Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methods - Familiarity with system platforms/tools such as Experian Strategy Manager and FICO Model Builder Decision Tree **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 4+ years of analytics experience or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Degree The role offers Enhanced Flexibility and Choice with work timings between 06:00 AM - 11:30 AM Eastern Time for meetings with India and US teams, with the remaining hours flexible for the employee to choose.
