Job Title: Laser Projection and LaserQC Operator Location: Plot No. 928, G.I.D.C., 3rd Phase, Vapi Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Product Manager Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Projection and Laser QC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser projection systems to assist in part layout, assembly guidance, and ensuring quality using the Laser QC inspection system. This role is vital in maintaining product accuracy and reducing rework through precise, non-contact measurement and projection. Key Responsibilities: Operate laser projection systems to assist with part positioning, layout, and assembly alignment on production tables or workstations. Program and run Laser QC machines for 2D inspection of sheet metal or fabricated parts. Compare scanned parts to CAD models to verify dimensional accuracy and highlight deviations. Identify and communicate defects or non-conforming parts to appropriate team members. Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate records of measurements and findings. Assist in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laser equipment. Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure proper part setup and inspection. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Continuously seek process improvement opportunities in laser inspection and projection workflows. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing or quality control is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files (DXF, DWG, etc.). Proficiency with basic measurement tools Strong computer skills; familiarity with inspection/reporting software. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise.
