Job Decription: Design, implement, manage, and maintain Avaya Aura or Avaya IP Office telephony systems. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of voice infrastructure. Collaborate with IT, security, and network teams to ensure integration and compatibility across platforms Monitor system performance, resolve issues promptly, and ensure maximum uptime and availability of telephony services. Hands-on experience with Avaya server platforms including S8300, S8410, S8500, S8700, and S8800 is required. Strong working knowledge of Avaya Session Manager (SM) and System Manager (SMGR) is essential. Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to Avaya systems efficiently. Support ongoing voice engineering efforts and project-based initiatives involving voice communication systems. Implement and manage enterprise-level voice solutions, addressing incidents and mitigating outages. Engage with clients to plan large-scale changes, such as user relocations, and provide effective communication solutions. Perform day-to-day MAC (moves, adds, changes) operations and support end-user troubleshooting. Communicate scheduled and unscheduled service disruptions to internal teams and the FDIC Enterprise Wide Command Center. Maintain awareness of system health, global events, and scheduled maintenance that could impact operations. Monitor service request and incident queues to ensure timely resolution of tickets. Evaluate, test, and deploy software patches, new features, and periodic system upgrades. Recommend and implement new technologies related to voice, video, and unified communications to enhance system capabilities..
