GRID is seeking a Rust Developer to contribute to the development and optimization of the core infrastructure of DePIN Protocol. As a Rust Developer, you will be responsible for working on high-performance, secure, and scalable blockchain systems. Your primary focus will be utilizing Rust to build smart contracts, decentralized protocols, and distributed applications. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with a strong proficiency in Rust programming language and a deep understanding of its ecosystem. Additionally, familiarity with blockchain development frameworks and tools like Truffle, Remix, and Web3.js is essential. An understanding of smart contract security, programming skills, experience with Rust and Node.js, as well as knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, C++, and JavaScript, are required. Strong backend skills, proficiency in algorithms & data structures, and knowledge of technologies like microservices architectures and Docker containers are also expected. GRID is dedicated to building DePIN's foundational coordination layer, powered by its INDEX token, NodeOps, and Super App. By consolidating diverse DePIN networks into a unified ecosystem, GRID aims to simplify access, enhance liquidity, and enable seamless participation for users and projects. The mission is to accelerate DePIN adoption by providing a streamlined marketplace, a robust operational framework, and consumer-friendly DePINFi applications within a single, intuitive platform. As a Rust Developer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, maintaining, and deploying blockchain solutions using Rust programming language. You will be tasked with writing and auditing smart contracts to ensure security, efficiency, and compliance with standards. Additionally, researching, designing, developing, and testing blockchain applications, as well as working closely with business and software developers to create innovative solutions are part of the role. Understanding consensus mechanisms like Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT), and others, and implementing and optimizing consensus algorithms in Rust are crucial aspects of the position. Experience with cryptocurrencies such as ETH, BNC, Avalanche, Solana, and Polygon, and working with open-source projects and codebases, are advantageous. Keeping up-to-date with current blockchain technology and the latest developments in Rust is also essential for success in this role.
