The Civil site engineer's role on the construction site involves various responsibilities. You will be required to read and interpret drawings accurately to execute the works accordingly. Experience in pile foundation works is essential for this position. Supervising construction works and ensuring that the centering, shuttering, and steel works of slab, beam, and column are checked before concreting are key tasks. It will also be your responsibility to prepare a schedule of material used and available, check and arrange equipment before concreting work starts, and supervise the curing process. Furthermore, you will be overseeing brick/block work, plastering works, and maintaining day-to-day concrete work details. For freshers, there will be a focus on learning practical works from seniors and gradually improving skills such as preparing bar bending schedule, quantity survey, and allotting work to subcontractor teams, specifying required manpower. This is a full-time position with benefits including food, health insurance, and provident fund. The preferred education requirement is a Diploma, and having at least 1 year of experience in construction inspection is preferred. Proficiency in Tamil is also preferred. A degree or diploma certification is preferred, and the ability to work in person at the specified location is required. The expected start date for this position is 20/07/2025.
