Job Description

As an AUTOSAR Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining software solutions for automotive systems using the Adaptive and Classic AUTOSAR platforms. Your expertise is crucial in ensuring seamless integration of components, enabling over-the-air updates, and working with diverse frameworks based on Adaptive AUTOSAR, Classic AUTOSAR, and Non-AUTOSAR platforms. It is essential to have a sound knowledge and hands-on experience using Vector tools for developing service-oriented architectures using SOME/IP. In this role, your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and integrating software components within the Adaptive AUTOSAR framework. You will also be responsible for implementing and managing over-the-air update mechanisms to ensure software can be updated remotely and securely. Collaborating with teams working on Classic AUTOSAR to ensure compatibility and integration between Adaptive and Classic platforms is another crucial aspect of the role. Additionally, you will utilize AUTOSAR tools from vendors such as Vector for the development, testing, and debugging of AUTOSAR components. Designing and implementing service-oriented architectures to enhance modularity and scalability of automotive software systems, as well as implementing and managing communication protocols using SOME/IP for efficient data exchange between automotive components, are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. You should also have 10 to 15 years of experience in software development for automotive systems, proven expertise in Adaptive AUTOSAR and Classic AUTOSAR platforms, experience with over-the-air updates and remote software management, proficiency in using AUTOSAR tools primarily from Vector, a strong understanding of service-oriented architectures and SOME/IP protocol, advanced programming skills in C/C++ and embedded systems, knowledge of real-time and safety-critical systems, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience with embedded Linux, QNX, or other POSIX operating systems, familiarity with Functional Safety, Cybersecurity practices in automotive software. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with opportunities to work on cutting-edge automotive technologies and interact with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and technical excellence.
