About the role: We're hiring a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to join Autonex AI , a deeptech startup building intelligent agents for robotics, automation, and applied AI systems. You'll play a key role in building our team from the ground up - owning end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations. This is a high-ownership role perfect for someone who enjoys creating structure, scaling processes, and working closely with leadership in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do: Own end-to-end recruitment : Manage the full recruitment lifecycle - sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing candidates for Operations, Annotation, Engineering, and Internship roles Build hiring pipelines: Develop strong sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, job boards, talent communities, and university partnerships Drive speed & quality: Balance hiring velocity with strong candidate experience and cultural alignment Manage onboarding: Handle joining formalities, offer letters, documentation, and induction for new hires Develop HR policies: Draft and implement people policies, payroll coordination, and compliance documentation What we're looking for: 12 years of experience in HR/Recruitment (startup experience preferred) Excellent communication & process ownership skills Comfortable working in high-ownership environments where priorities evolve quickly and autonomy is key Emotionally intelligent, empathetic, and motivated by helping others succeed Based in Mumbai (on-site role)
