As a Digital Cockpit Functional Leader, your role will involve managing the specification development of Digital Cockpit system for OEM. You should have 5-20 years of experience in the field and be willing to work in India with occasional travel. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science is required, along with proficiency in English and Japanese (Must be JLPT N3 level for good conversation in Japanese). Key Responsibilities: - Collect Requirements: Work with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements, including functional, non-functional, HMI & UX and their analysis. - Manage Specifications: Lead the development of detailed system specifications based on OEM requirements, project objectives, and technical constraints. Specifications include creation of overall system specifications, Diagnostics specifications, CAN specifications, HMI specification, UX, etc. - Engage with Stakeholders: Work with OEM customer, Function owners, and other stakeholders to gather and understand system requirements. - Review and Validate: Conduct reviews and validation of specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and feasibility. Manage changes to system requirements, update documentation and track the changes till closure. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in IVI or Cluster System Specification Development. - Experience in automotive system development such as IVI, Cluster or HUD. - Good knowledge in IVI, Cluster or HUD features and system specifications. - Able to lead System Design Reviews. - Worked in at least 1 mass production program for IVI or Cluster. - Proficiency in Japanese speaking/reading/writing (JLPT N3 at least). Additionally, you must have: - Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N3 level. - Business level proficiency in English.
