Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Selenium Automation Test Engineer

with expertise in

Selenium

and

Java

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, particularly with

Selenium

and

Rest Assured/Karate

for API testing. This role will involve working with remote execution tools, continuous integration, and building automated test frameworks for both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated tests using
Selenium
with
Java
.
Write and execute
API tests
using
Rest Assured
or
Karate
.
Configure and execute tests using
remote execution tools
like
Sauce Labs
,
Selenium Grid
, and
BrowserStack
.
Integrate and maintain test automation frameworks using
Maven
,
Gradle
, or
Ant
.
Work with test management tools like
TestNG
,
Cucumber
, and
JUnit
for building and executing test scripts.
Ensure integration of the automation framework with
continuous integration
(CI) tools and platforms, both on-premise and in cloud environments.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper test coverage and alignment of automated tests with project requirements.
Provide detailed reporting on test results and raise issues promptly.
Continuously improve the test automation framework, incorporating new technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
4-6 years
of relevant work experience in test automation, with at least
4+ years
working specifically with
Selenium
for automation testing.
Strong proficiency in
Selenium
automation using
Java
.
In-depth knowledge of
Rest Assured
or
Karate
for API testing.
Familiarity with
remote execution tools
such as
Sauce Labs
,
Selenium Grid
, and
BrowserStack
.
Expertise in
build tools
like
Maven
,
Gradle
, or
Ant
.
Commanding knowledge of
TestNG
,
Cucumber
, and
JUnit
for test scripting and management.
Experience working with
build, testing, and continuous integration tools
for automated testing in cloud or on-premise infrastructures.
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills
, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in
Agile
development environments.
Knowledge of
version control systems
like
Git
.
Familiarity with
Jenkins
for continuous integration and delivery.
