Automation Testing (Selenium exp)

Position: Automation Test Engineer. (With Selenium Exp)

Location : Chennai city office

Mode: Work from office only

Interview Mode : One level Face to Face Mandatory

Joining Time : Immediate joiners preferred

The Test Engineer role is to deliver an error free product to customers and end users of client ERP/Web applications. Responsibilities include research, analysis, testing of the tickets received from the development team. They are also responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of the applications and assisting with business requirements analysis to support the organization during the expansion of clients ERP/Web application systems in multiple countries. As a member of a team, in a fast-paced environment, liaise with team members to ensure quality and on-time deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Testing of software via manual and automated methods
2. Monitoring ticket queue and prioritize the testing tickets based on the ticket types and issues reported from the users
3. Interpret technical documentation for analyzing and testing the tickets; build test cases as needed
4. Apply testing standards and SOP to all testing functions
5. Identification of application issues and escalating issues as required for prompt resolution
6. Testing of bug fix tickets and follow-up with analysts to ensure problems are resolved
7. Maintain / update the companys project management and ticketing software with information and status of the tickets
8. Coordinate with the application support staff and assist on the support tickets
9. Assist the team with research and analysis tickets
10. Provide guidance to other members of the teams
11. Other duties as assigned

Job Skills:

1.

• Bachelors Degree in computer systems or information systems management related majors

2.

• Around 5 years of testing experience (Automation)
• Logistics industry experience; familiarity with the shipping industry (preferred)
• Automation testing experience in Desktop and Web applications
• Expertise in Selenium

3.

• Microsoft Windows, MS Office

4.

• Fluency in English (written and verbal)

5.

ISTQB
