Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer at our organization, you will play a crucial role in our Quality Assurance team by utilizing your expertise in Selenium for UI and API testing. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks to validate front-end and back-end components of web applications. Collaboration with developers, QA analysts, and product managers is key to ensuring high-quality software delivery. Your tasks will involve developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python, executing automated API tests for REST and SOAP services, and building scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing. You will also be responsible for integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. Furthermore, conducting functional, regression, and smoke testing across various browsers and platforms, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and providing detailed documentation will be part of your daily routine. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintaining test data and supporting test environment setup will also be essential aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and either Java or Python. Proficiency in API testing tools such as REST Assured, Postman, and SoapUI, along with experience in TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest frameworks, will be beneficial. A solid understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP methods, status codes, XPath, CSS selectors, dynamic element handling, and version control using Git and platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket is required. Additionally, familiarity with CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps will be advantageous.
