Automation Testing Engineer - Mobile App Functional Testing

Role Overview: As an Automation Testing Engineer at the company, your primary responsibility will be to lead and execute mobile app functional testing using automation frameworks, with a preference for Tricentis Tosca experience. Your expertise in mobile test automation, scripting, and executing test cases for iOS and Android applications will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS & Android) using Tricentis Tosca (or equivalent tools). - Conduct functional, regression, and UI testing to validate app behavior across multiple devices and OS versions. - Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios, integrating with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and drive test automation adoption. - Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools. - Ensure compliance with best practices for mobile test automation frameworks and scripting. - Analyze and report test results, providing insights and recommendations for improving software quality. Qualifications Required: - Automation Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience in mobile app automation testing (iOS & Android). - Tricentis Testim (Preferred): Experience in scripting and executing tests using Testim.io or similar automation tools (Appium, Selenium, etc.). - Programming Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test automation scripting. - CI/CD Integration: Experience with integrating automated tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Mobile Testing Tools: Exposure to Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, BrowserStack, or Sauce labs for device testing. - Test Management & Bug Tracking: Proficiency in JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools. - API Testing Knowledge: Experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured is a plus. - Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to identify test scenarios, analyze results, and troubleshoot failures effectively. - Agile & DevOps Practices: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps-driven testing processes.
