Automation Testing

As an IT Quality Intermediate Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for supporting initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Your role will involve working with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach. Additionally, you will conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments, reporting issues and making recommendations for solutions. It will be your responsibility to ensure that project standards and procedures are well-documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle, while also monitoring products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Support initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout - Design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for application testing strategy - Conduct process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments - Ensure project standards and procedures are well-documented and followed - Monitor products and processes for conformance to standards and procedures - Perform preliminary root cause analyses and provide recommended improvements - Verify traceability in project work products - Gather, maintain, and create reports on quality metrics - Provide informal guidance to new team members - Perform other duties and functions as assigned Qualifications: - 4-8 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred - Experience in requirement reviews and ability to identify, communicate, and document discrepancies - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies - Understanding of Quality Processes - Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities - Proven ability to work to deadlines - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Experience in defining, designing, and executing test cases - Automation testing experience with Test NG, Selenium, and Java code Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.
