Job Description

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
automated test scripts
for web and/or API applications.
Develop and enhance
automation frameworks
using tools such as
Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
.
Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like
JIRA, Azure DevOps
, etc.
Perform
functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Integrate automation tests into
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
Maintain test data and ensure test environment stability.
Prepare and share
automation test reports
and metrics.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
Automation Testing
.
Hands-on experience with
Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
.
Strong programming/scripting skills in
Java, Python, or JavaScript
.
Experience with
TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cucumber, or similar frameworks
.
Good understanding of
SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
.
Experience in
API automation
using tools like
Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate
.
Knowledge of
version control systems
(Git).
