Job Description

Skill Set - Automation testing, selenium with java

Location:

Shift :

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust
test automation frameworks
using
Selenium WebDriver with Java
(or Java-based frameworks like TestNG/JUnit).
Develop and execute
automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites
for web applications across multiple browsers and environments.
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
for continuous test execution on every build.
Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless automation integration and test feedback loops.
Write reusable, maintainable, and modular test code with proper logging, exception handling, and reporting.
Perform
API testing using RestAssured or Postman/Newman
, and integrate API test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct
cross-browser and responsive testing
using Selenium Grid and cloud-based device platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Support
end-to-end testing
for web and mobile applications (Android/iOS) using Appium (preferred).
Create and maintain
test data management strategies
and test environment configurations.
Analyze test results, identify flaky tests, and work on improving test stability and execution speed.
Participate in
test planning, test case design, and test strategy discussions
.
Contribute to
test documentation, execution reports, and defect tracking (JIRA)
.
Stay updated with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and best practices in test engineering.
