Automation Tester

Job Description

Stark Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for our software applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure the highest quality of our products. Your role will involve identifying test requirements, developing test plans, and maintaining testing documentation. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis to ensure application performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools. - Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing. - Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Identify, record, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation processes. - Generate test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders. - Stay updated on the latest testing tools and best practices to continuously improve the testing process. Skills and Tools Required: - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps. - Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment. - Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
