Automation Tester

Job Description: NTT DATA is seeking an Automation Tester with strong experience in Java, Selenium, and API testing, including Postman, to join the team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As an Automation Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, maintain, and improve automated scripts, frameworks, and tools to facilitate efficient software testing and delivery at Sony India Software Centre. This role necessitates a profound comprehension of automation technologies, adept problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to leveraging innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in software testing and automation testing utilizing Selenium and JavaScript. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript is crucial. Additionally, expertise in API test automation using Postman, familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (BDD), and knowledge of best practices in automation testing are required. Experience in AEM testing, mobile web automation using Appium, and various types of testing such as Functional, System, Regression, and Smoke testing is advantageous. Proficiency in tools like Jira and Qtest, understanding of SDLC methodologies and QA processes, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Github are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams are highly valued. An understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are critical for success in this role.
