Automation Tester (JavaScript/TypeScript with Playwright)

Role Overview: You are sought after for your expertise as an Automation Tester with 3+ years of experience in automation testing using JavaScript/TypeScript and the Playwright framework. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the successful and timely delivery of an ongoing client project. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript. - Execute functional, regression, and integration test suites effectively. - Collaborate closely with developers and QA leads to identify, report, and validate defects. - Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA review meetings. - Maintain strong test coverage and uphold test data integrity. - Provide regular updates on test progress and deliver automation report results. - Identify, report, and monitor defects using tools such as JIRA. - Continuously improve the automation framework for scalability, maintainability, and stability. Qualification Required: - 1 to 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing. - Proficiency in Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Sound understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams.
