Job Title: Full Stack Developer (React/Next and Node/Nest) Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Pune Experience: 4 - 8 Years Employment Type: Contract About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our agile and forward-thinking technology team. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of modern web application development, a keen eye for performance optimization, and solid experience across frontend, backend, databases, cloud, and DevOps workflows. You will be responsible for building scalable, robust, and secure solutions in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Frontend Development: Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React.js and Next.js . Optimize front-end applications for speed , scalability , and accessibility . Leverage SSR (Server Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) capabilities for optimal performance. Implement reusable UI components and work closely with UI/UX designers to achieve design intent. Backend Development: Develop scalable and secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and NestJS . Design efficient database schemas and manage complex queries in PostgreSQL , MongoDB , or DynamoDB . Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, and data protection mechanisms. Integrate external APIs, services, and payment gateways as needed. Database & Performance Optimization: Write advanced SQL queries and stored procedures for complex reporting and transactional flows. Conduct query profiling , index tuning , and schema optimization . Proactively monitor and improve performance of both backend logic and database operations. Load Testing & Application Monitoring: Design and execute load tests using tools like Artillery, JMeter, or Locust . Analyze performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges. Set up monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch , Datadog , New Relic , or Prometheus/Grafana . Cloud and DevOps: Deploy and scale applications using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront, etc.). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions , Jenkins , or AWS CodePipeline . Implement containerized deployments using Docker and manage infrastructure via Terraform or AWS CloudFormation . Ensure high availability, failover strategies, and disaster recovery mechanisms. Collaboration & Code Quality: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver highquality features. Participate in code reviews , enforce coding standards, and maintain a high bar for test coverage. Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions . Required Skills: Frontend: Proficiency in React.js , Next.js , and modern frontend architecture. Familiarity with Tailwind CSS , Material-UI , Bootstrap , or similar CSS frameworks. Strong knowledge of browser performance optimization techniques and accessibility standards. Backend: Advanced expertise in Node.js , NestJS , and asynchronous programming models. Experience in designing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs. Strong understanding of microservices , caching strategies , and error handling . Database: Proficient in PostgreSQL , MySQL , and NoSQL databases like MongoDB . Advanced SQL knowledge , with experience in optimizing queries and indexing strategies. DevOps & Cloud: Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation). Familiarity with Docker , Terraform , and infrastructure-as-code. CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions , Jenkins , or GitLab CI . General: Strong grasp of design patterns , software engineering principles , and test-driven development . Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Version control using Git and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Preferred Skills: Exposure to TypeScript across frontend and backend projects. Experience in event-driven systems , message queues (Kafka/SQS/RabbitMQ) . Familiarity with web vitals and Core Web Performance Metrics . Background in security best practices , OWASP guidelines , and compliance (e.g., GDPR) . Prior experience in building e-commerce , ERP , or enterprise-level web applications .
