Job Description

We are looking for a Automation tester with hands on experience in Playwright and Typescript

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Tester with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust UI and end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated tests.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Maintain, refactor, and scale test scripts as needed to support ongoing development.
Log and track defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA).
Perform code reviews of automation scripts and provide feedback for improvement.
Generate test reports and provide insights into test coverage and quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript concepts and modern test automation practices.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman is a plus.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
