Automation Tester

As an Automation Tester at our company, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Your role will involve developing and maintaining automated test scripts, designing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium. - Design test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing. - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins and GitHub Actions. - Conduct web, mobile, API, and backend testing as required. - Document and report bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. - Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure software quality. - Continuously improve test coverage, tools, and processes. Required Skills: - Proficient in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, and Playwright. - Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience in writing and executing test cases and scripts. - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - ISTQB certification is preferred. - Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave. - Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
