Automation Test Engineer - Selenium/Cypress

• Proven hands-on experience in manual and Test automation
• Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing
• Experience with automation tools such as selenium, cypress, playwright, katalon studio etc
• Manages a group of employees and helps the team achieve its goals effectively.
• Experience in QA methodology, familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools, workflows, test case management tools, agile tools, and project tools,
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude, Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, Organizational and time-management skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day activities
  

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product team and other QA Engineers to develop effective strategies, test plans and use cases.
• Execute test cases and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report defect to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues and document ever-evolving workflows and issue resolutions.
• Conduct post-release or post-implementation testing
• Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently
• Serve as a point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards
• Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers
• Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts
• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices
• Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
• Reporting team/project metrics
